SOUL SILVER Crayola's Adventure 1. Only the first Pokémon encountered can be caught excluding duplicates 2. Fainted Pokémon get thrown into the Abyss (Box 2) 3. Can catch legendaries, but they cannot be in the party. 4. Black out means game over 5. Give everyone a nickname (though that's just normal game play for me)
LOSSES: 5 POKEMON PARTY mister piledrive After much deliberation and looking through all three of the Pokemon, she finally decided on the playful crocodile and the two set out on their mission together. He grew stronger fast, and the two hit it off right from the start. he really protected her while on their mission to Mr. Pokemon's house, and their bond strengthened with their first trainer win against the mysterious red-head named Kent. It was the start of a beautiful friendship. After many trials and two gyms, he finally evolved. The two have been getting stronger and closer, and he shows a more violent and protective side than he had as a totodile. miss shasta The third member of the team and the most aggressive. She really likes being out of the ball and stretching her wings, and she tries to be the first one out in the battle. Eager, she gets things done. Crayola and Shasta try not to step on each other's toes, but they're starting to warm up to each other. Their bonds only strengthened at the second gym when Shasta took out all three of Bugsy's Pokemon, taking revenge for Opal and Fleck. Shasta comforted Crayola in her devastation, and the two became closer than ever. Shortly afterward, Shasta managed to evolve, the third member to evolve. miss palm Captured thanks to the Headbutt attack some random dude taught Peakaboo, Crayola hopes he'll replace the grass position that was supposed to be for little Walnut. He was a fairly weak level, so she's thrown him into the daycare while she treks back to her house. Finally after a short trek Crayola called Palm into her party. She awaits a leaf stone, however, and it didn't take long for Crayola to spend enough time at the Pokéathlon to get enough points for the Leaf Stone. Once it was obtained, she forced it on the Exeggcute and made her evolve. She's still not as strong as the others thanks to her attacks, but Crayola has a lot of hope for her. miss neela The newest up-and-comer on the team. It took Crayola several hours of playing the coin game, but eventually she racked up enough coins to earn her the little critter. She fears getting this one killed, but has high hopes for the little dragon type. She was able to take revenge on Miltank for Vespae's death. She's doing well to earn her keep and seems to be the most potent of her Pokemon, and Crayola has grown quite attached to the little creature. miss claw One of the newer members. Crayola was lucky enough to bag her during the Bug Catching contest and was surprised to find that her Claw was actually a female! Crayola was wary of having another bug type on her team, but Claw has proven useful and was the one who took revenge on the evil Rattata that took Vixen away from Crayola so early. miss ginger Ginger was caught as a little Nidoran, and Crayola was actually disappointed to see a female, as she had always preferred Nidorino and Nidoking over their female counterparts. However, she did a bit of grinding in order to bring it up to a Nidorina, and after Vixen's untimely and tragic death, Crayola pulled her out and decided to give her a chance as part of the team, even teaching her Shadow Claw via TM in preparation for the Ghost gym. POKEMON GRAVEYARD miss ringa The team's very first loss in their journey. A rather lackluster death it was, though. She was the very first Pokémon Crayola was able to capture, and the very first they lost only five minutes after being caught. In the first route Ringa was called out against another Sentret of the same level, and she was felled by a rouge Critical Hit. Needless to say, the team wasn't really that devestated, but it was a low blow to their self-esteem. Crayola mourns the creature and feels terrible for cutting it's life so short. level 2-2 miss opal An affectionate little thing, she stands at Crayola's current favorite and upcoming new recruit. Though caught after a few others, she single-handedly took out the bird gym once she learned the move Thundershock. It was a close call on that level 13 hax Pidgeotto, but a critical hit with Thundershock ensured their win and Opal proved just how much potential she had. She was the second Pokémon in Crayola's team to evolve, and the two were thicker than thieves. Opal was by far her favorite, and the two really got along great. However, her life was cut short in the bug gym. She was called in after the Scyther downed Fleck and managed to paralyze the quick bug before being taken out herself. The loss was devastating. Level 6-15 mister fleck Caught shortly after the sudden death of Ringa, his defense has proven great help in their journey. Despite learning Rock Throw at level eleven, he wasn't used in the first gym. He's not bitter about it, though, and altogether he seems to be a rather laid back Pokémon. However, he and Crayola haven't really made much of a connection despite being together longer than the rest next to Piledrive. His death was sudden an unexpected, his life taken by Bugsy's overpowerd Scyther. It was a shocking defeat, but Crayola didn't take as much as a blow from it as she did Opal's death. Level 2-15 miss walnut Another short-lived teammate. Crayola underestimated an opponent and it wound up with the death of of their newest recruit. Once again a large chunk of her ego was torn from her and she was racked with more guilt. She's lost many, and she knows that there will be more losses, but she continues on. Level 6-8 miss vespae Already all grown up, Vespae started as a shy little weedle whom Crayola coddled and carefully trained, eager to get her a big bad bug. Though not the strongest member of the team, she has a big heart and is eager to prove herself. Though not entirely used all that much, she was extremely helpful in taking out the Bellsprout hoards in the tower while both a Weedle and a Kakuna. They traveled all the way to the third gym before Whitney's Miltank took her out with a lucky Rollout. Level 4-19 miss vixen The most hopeful catch since Opal. She was the first Fire-Type that Crayola had come across and she counted her lucky stars that she'd caught her, knowing that eventually she'd need a fire type for the coming Steel and Ice gym. She worked with that Vulpix for ages to get it up to the same level as some of her other Pokemon, but it was not meant to be. Facing a Rattata in the burn tower, Vixen was low on HP. Crayola tried to return her, but the blasted rodent snuck in a Pursuit and felled the small fox before she even knew what hit her. While Crayola comforted the Vulpix in her last moments, Claw destroyed the enemy Rattata. Level 15-18 POKEMON STORAGE mister styl Crayola's most disappointing Pokémon. She had high hopes for him at first, but he's proven to be nothing but obnoxious. He didn't really get along with the other Pokémon and showed absolutely no interest in being part of the team. He did his part in the sprout tower and finally learned Astonish, but his slow growth and uncaring nature drove her to boxing him. miss epphie Not much is known about this little thing. She doesn't have much energy, and what energy she does have tends to go toward playing tricks on people. Already in possession of one water type, Crayola boxed the little one and continued on her way. zorg the ditto One of the newest members, and one that was immediately boxed. It actually gave her quite some trouble and she had to switch Peakaboo before she died in order to catch the thing. miss peakaboo It seemed like only a day after she had gotten the egg it was hatching. It turned out to be a little Togepi. Crayola instantly fell in love with the little girl. After the loss of Opal, however, she feels a little wary of loving something again, but the little thing is slowly chipping away at the ice around her heart. Her love for the little Togepi caused her to box her in order to keep her safe. mister reset Grabbed just for the fact that he was in the way. She doesn't plan to use such a Pokemon, but if she ever needs a rock type in a pinch, she feels he might be useful with some grinding. However, he's a last resort, sitting on the bench and waiting for the day when maybe another one of her Party will fall. mister harley She caught him in the burned tower just before her Vulpix was taken out. Crayola debated just killing it and moving on, but she found the little Pokémon kind of cute and decided to catch him. Her party was full at the time so he went straight to her box, and that's probably where he's going to stay. miss verse Another surprise gender, a female Machop. Crayola's kind of amazed at the fact that she keeps catching a bunch of female Pokemon, but doesn't complain. She was boxed when she went to the Pokémon center next, but Crayola sees the potential of a fighting type. THE JOURNEY LOG Crayola eagerly started her journey with a hopeful heart. Her mother graciously explained the situation to her and then sent her off to Professor Elm, where she met her first Pokémon Piledrive the Totodile. Together they traveled to Mr. Pokemon's house and retrieved the mystery egg for Professor Elm. Professor Oak was there as well and handed over a Pokedex. On their way back, they met with a mysterious red-head who challenged them to a battle. Piledrive took out the familiar Chikorita that Crayola remembered seeing at the lab, and they took off.
After speaking with the police and identifying the stranger as a boy named Kent, Crayola was free to really start her journey. Her friend Ethan graciously showed her how to catch Pokémon and handed over some Pokeballs, and it wasn't long before she caught her first Sentret. The bonding was cut short by a rabid Sentret, and they laid their first Pokémon to rest.
Finally after capturing and training several more they were ready for the gym. They met with Kent again at the Sprout Tower and earned themselves the Flash HM. Opal, Crayola's promising new Mareep was eager to show her stuff at the gym and downed both of the gym leader's birds with Thundershock, and the team took home their first badge with a major eager boosts and they continued onward to the next town.
However, before that could happen, she had to receive the egg from the professor's assistant. Once collected, she and her team marched onward! No one new was added to their team until they visited the Slowpoke Well to rid it of the parasites known as Team Rocket, where they caught a little Slowpoke. However, the team suffered two huge losses at the hands of the punk Bugsy. Both Opal and Fleck were downed, and Crayola only blames herself for their loss. She was particularly devastated by the death of Opal.
Despite everything, the teams makes it to Goldenrod and they do a little bit of training there for a while. She caught a couple new Pokémon on the way, and after several annoying calls from her mother she decides to leave some of her weaker Pokémon in the daycare center while she travels all the way back to her house to give her mother a piece of her mind.
After some grinding, Crayola and her new team were able to take on the third gym. They trudged through Whitney's lackies and faced the Gym Leader with high hopes. It was easy taking out the Clefairy with a Palm/Vespae tag team. Miltank, however, was a lot harder. It took four of her Pokémon and a few close claws, but finally, after the loss of Vespae, Neela was able to take out the cow and win the badge for the team. But at what cost?
The team moved on to Ecruteak and visited the big burned tower looking for the gym leader. She marveled for a bit at the lack of commitment these gym leaders seemed to have. When he wouldn't return until spotting the legendary dog Suicune, Crayola went looking and traveled to the basement where she found all three of the legendary dogs lurking. Now, the team returns to grinding after the devastating loss of Vixen.
After pulling out the Nidorina she had gotten, Crayola taught her Shadow Claw in preparation for the ghost gym and they started training. They caught a Farfetch'd along the way, though she would have preferred something with a little more oomph. They had already taken down all of the little lackeys in the gym and were going to finish up training for the gym before challenging the leader. Things seemed to be going well for them.
It was the night before they were going to challenge Morty. They were staying with the Kimono Girl they had helped out early, and the Team Rocket member they'd chased off came back with reinforcements. While Crayola was asleep, they snuck in and tied both Crayola and the Kimono Girl up before taking off with both of their Pokémon. It took some time, but eventually they were freed.
Crayola attempted for several weeks to get her Pokémon back, but all of the ones in her box were too weak, and she didn't have the patience, not knowing where her Pokémon were or what things were being done to them. Eventually she followed a lead and found out that Team Rocket might have passed her Pokémon on to someone else.
The lead led her to the Hoenn Region, and she got in contact with the Professor there. She had to leave the rest of her Pokémon with her mother and start over to avoid suspicion from the league, but Crayola was willing to do anything to get back her Pokémon.

SAPPHIRE Crayola's Adventure Continued 1. Only the first Pokémon encountered can be caught excluding duplicates or special events. 2. Fainted Pokémon get thrown into the Abyss (Box 2) 3. Can catch legendaries, but they cannot be in the party. 4. Black out means game over 5. Give everyone a nickname (though that's just normal game play for me)
LOSSES: 7 POKEMON PARTY mister reese A lucky catch. Reese is by far the youngest and most green member of the team, but he's really proven himself. Though not the brightest match in the box, he listens well and has really taken a liking to Crayola, who has in turn taking a liking to him. He was caught mainly in preparation for the Dragons she'll have to face in the elite four and has taken Chef's place, who was deemed unnecessary for the elite four at hand. Directly after being caught, Crayola managed to get her up a level and she evolved straight after that, increasing her usefulness by quite a bit. Later she proved herself useful against the fights with Team Aqua, though she was still a tough cookie to train up, but she eventually brought back to her other Pokemon's levels. It took some doing and some work, but she got Reese's moveset to where it needed to be. He helped greatly with the elite four, especially with Drake, and proved his worth on the team. When it came to Steven, he performed admirably and was the only hope against Steven's Metagross after it destroyed the rest of her team. He managed to do it and made Crayola the new Champion. Before her next journey, he was left with the boxed Pokémon she chose, in her Secret Base, where they would rest. miss heidi Kind of a slow Pokémon (not dimwitted slow) she always seems like she's tired. She was Crayola's first choice in a fire type, but after the Torkoal showed up she unfortunately gave up on little Heidi. Of course, she is Crayola's back up plan just in case anything bad happens to Chef. With the Day Care empty, Crayola moved her in to keep her growing so she could be called on at a moment's notice. After the devastating losses at Evergrande City, Crayola begrudgingly traveled to the Day Care to pick her up. The Numel was eager to see her, however. When Crayola didn't return the eagerness right away, Heidi knew something was wrong. Along with the rest of the Pokémon Crayola pulled out to fill her team, she and Reese explained what happened. Heidi would be needed eventually, and she was willing to do what she could. Just to be safe, Crayola spent a little bit of time to get her up a level and evolved her. She's taken the only female slot in Crayola's team again. However, she and the rest of her motley team are at her Secret Base while she travels to Sinnoh. mister mcbane Another in-training benched replacement. At first she wasn't really going to use him at all, but after the loss of Sasha Crayola knew she was going to need to prepare for the worse, even if she was hoping it wouldn't happen. Once she had Cartman up and ready, she stuck McBane and Heidi both into the day care so they could be ready to go whenever Crayola needed to call on them. That time came when all of the Pokémon in Crayola's team except Reese were murdered by Steven's Metagross. McBane seemed extremely angered by this, but there was little that they could do. He did his best to comfort Crayola, and then they spent some time getting raised one level to get him to evolve so they could be ready for anything. However, he and the rest of her motley team are at her Secret Base while she travels to Sinnoh. mister chef A big find in Crayola's eyes. He's eager, ambitious, and has a mighty temper. However, he maintains control over his temper most of the time. Crayola lost a bit of patience in training Pokémon and left him in care of the Day Care lady for some time to get him up to par with the rest of her Pokémon. He at least he seems like he'll be a nice tank for later. He was finally ready and pulled out of Day Care to be added to the team. He's been useful in a few wild Pokémon fights for training, but Crayola hasn't really had a chance to use him. He's a rather wise Pokémon despite his age and isn't afraid to tell anyone how it is. Despite being so new to the team, after Sasha's death, he's the one who snapped Crayola out of her zombie like state. However, he ended up being boxed in the interest of justice. Or rather, the interest of surviving the elite four. Desperate to have another Pokémon she knows well in her team, Crayola didn't even hesitate to pull Chef out. Her, Reese, and Chef both mourned all of their friends together. However, he and the rest of her motley team are at her Secret Base while she travels to Sinnoh. mister nero A good find for Crayola. He was caught in Victory Road and for some time Crayola debated throwing him in her team, thinking that he might be some use, but she decided against it in the long run and just kept with the team she'd been working with for quite a while already. He was left in the box, and she went on to the elite four. However, his chance to be in the team slowly came forth when Crayola's team was all but destroyed. In order to rebuild her team for when the moment might arise that she needs them, he was put in her team with the rest of her Pokémon she pulled off the bench. However, he and the rest of her motley team are at her Secret Base while she travels to Sinnoh. mister cameo He was caught in the tunnel that lead to the Kyogre she had to fight. She deliberated for quite some time on whether or not to switch him out with Cash and use him on the team, as she and the Mightyena still weren't getting along too well. However, she ultimately changed her mind and boxed the little critter to keep him safe and on reserve just in case she would need him later. When her team was destroyed by Metagross, leaving nothing but Reese at her side, he was pulled off the bench and pulled back into her party. With all of her Pokémon gone, she figured it would be good for her to get new Pokemon, just in case the time came where she needed her Pokémon again. However, he and the rest of her motley team are at her Secret Base while she travels to Sinnoh. POKEMON GRAVEYARD mister federal Crayola didn't know much about the species, but she liked the way he seemed determined and thought it fine to catch him. He took a little harder to train than the rest of her Pokemon, save for her Poochyena, but he got along well and with some research Crayola got excited for the day he'd evolve. He helped Linderman in the victory over Roxanne by taking out the pesky Geodude and letting Linderman deal with Nosepass. It wasn't meant to be, however. While training for the second gym, a Makuhita got in a couple of lucky shots and felled the little trooper. For a time, Crayola thought about just giving up, but her remaining Pokémon comforted her. Level 5-13 miss sasha The very first Pokémon Crayola caught in this region. She instantly fell in love with the little girl's cute face and cuddling demeanor, and she has high hopes for the little thing. She's eager to listen and prove herself to her trainer and always seems to try her hardest when in a battle, or just whenever. She seems to realize that there's a great sadness in Crayola's heart. Crayola's the proudest of this little Pokémon. Before her challenge for Watson, Crayola power-trained Sasha until she evolved. She's really grown on Crayola as the only other female in her party besides Prue. Their bond continued to grow through the training for the fourth Gym, but it turned south when they challenged. Crayola taught the Linoone Dig to help Linderman with the gym, but the Slugma managed to sneak in a devestating Overheat that ended the battle for Linoone. Crayola barely paid attention to the rest of the battle as Linderman easily took out the rest with only a little bit of trouble, as she was too busy saying goodbye to her dying Pokémon. Crayola didn't say a single word for hours after her death and accepted no comforting. She was. . . numb. Level 3-27 mister linderman On an impulse Crayola chose this little guy as her new starter. Her Piledrive had been a water type, and even though she feels as if she had betrayed him a way, as if she was trying to replace her Croconaw, Crayola has slowly started to get attached to the little Mudkip. He's kind of a pokey little puppy, though, but it's kind of cute. Except when it's not, which is normally when she's trying to get his attention and he's more interested in a speck of dirt. However, he managed to pull his act together and help Crayola win her first badge. He evolved shortly before the battle of the second gym, and single-handedly took out Watson's gym. Things keep looking up for the little Marstomp as he helped win the against the Fire Gym after the traumatizing loss of Sasha. As the journey continued, Linderman and Crayola continued to win and see no more losses. He helped her get all the way through the elite four and even finished off some of Steven's Pokémon. . . . But was done in by a surprise Hyper Beam from his Metagross. The loss shook Crayola and she very nearly quit right there, but she pushed on, knowing it wouldn't be fair to all of her other Pokémon. He is missed, he is mourned. Level 5-50 mister cash When Crayola first saw the little creature, she thought he'd make a great addition. However, after catching and training with him, she learned that he's actually quite difficult to deal with. He only ever seems to do anything half-assed and when Crayola tries to connect with him, he just turns his back to her. She's willing to work with him, though, and knows that eventually he'll come around. However, things aren't getting much better and he still refuses to really work hard and frustrates Crayola a lot. Once he evolved, though, he really got serious and started to kick it into overdrive. He and Crayola still squabble from time to time, but they manage. Cash has a ways to go before he's ready to face anything on his own, but Crayola knows that eventually he's going to be incredibly useful. Though he was a hard one to train up, Crayola somehow managed to keep him on par with the rest of her Pokémon. He single-handedly took out Phoebe's Pokémon. However, his life was taken by a critical hit from Metagross' Earthquake. He and Crayola hadn't gotten along too well, but she was still shocked to see him go. Level 3-50 mister tux A happy find for Crayola. At first she thought he'd be just like another Shasta, but instead he's head strong and a little more aggressive than she really expected or was ready to deal with. However, he listens just fine to her and she has great expectations of him for the upcoming fighting gym. After the Electric gym, Crayola focused on training him until he finally evolved. He's still kind of vicious in battle, but Crayola's learned to love it. After seeing the state Crayola was in upon the loss of Sasha, and due to his own reaction to the loss of the sweet Linoone, he's calmed down and started thinking before he acts, not wanting to be responsible for putting her through another loss. He was called out against the Metagross so that Crayola could heal Reese, her last hope against Metagross, in hopes that he would be too Paralyzed to move or would use Earthquake, but instead he used Meteor Mash and took out the little bird. He was the last line of defense before Reese, and he performed his duty to the last. Level 5-50 miss prue She's a happy go lucky Pokémon that loves being with Crayola. She's quite a happy camper and just seems to be bursting with a lot of energy and enthusiasm. Even though she's one of the younger members of the team, she definitely has warmed up to Crayola quite quickly. She even grew quickly and is has definitely become one of the guys rather quickly. Though Prue hasn't done a whole lot yet, Crayola definitely has big hopes for the little thing. She's grown quite attached to the little Plusle, and though she's not near as strong as some of her other Pokemon, she definitely holds her own. With the loss of Sasha, she's started paying way more attention to Crayola in order to keep her spirits up. After losing Prue, who had worked so hard to keep up with the other Pokemon, Crayola once again thought about quitting. First it was Linderman, then Cartman, then Cash, and then Prue. She was shaken, but she had come too far just to give up. Level 13-50 mister cartman Caught only to be another substitute. He's kind of a creeper, always staring at Crayola and never really saying anything. He was tossed into the box and will probably stay there until she needs someone to learn an HM move, which she'll force on him only out of convenience. He seems to be a vengeful little creature though. In order to prepare for the worse, he was tossed into the daycare so Crayola wouldn't have to spend as much time grinding when the time came that she might need him. Finally that time came when Sasha died. With the upcoming normal gym, she knew he'd be useful and pulled him out of daycare and started pumping him up for the upcoming gym. He seems to be. . . . In love with Crayola, but not in the cute way. . . . In the creeper stalker way. Another loss that shook Crayola. He might have been a creepy little stalker Pokemon, but he was her powerhouse. . . . Her friend. Metagross was his downfall like the rest of her Pokémon. Once again, by Hyper Beam Level 8-49 POKEMON STORAGE mister senor Where Crayola had been hoping to find a Ralts, she came across a Lotad instead. During the course of the battle she thought about just finishing it off and moving on, but she caught it, knowing that he might be of some use for the upcoming rock gym. It took some time to train him, but he's proven to be quite the little tough guy and stands his own against everything he comes across. He has some potential, but Crayola is still unsure if he'll stay with the team for much longer. In fact, as soon as Crayola finally caught a Taillow, he was boxed. miss jell One of Crayola's reserve Pokémon. She seems a little shy and standoffish, but Crayola still keeps her in mind as a reserve Pokemon, in case anything goes bad. She's still kind of weak, but given some TLC Crayola thinks she could be a potentially good addition to the team. He was tossed into the Daycare for some time, but then Crayola found a lovely Torkoal and he was put back into the box. mister duster Another disappointing catch, but one she made nonetheless. She caught him as a little Wurmple and it wasn't too long before he was evolving. Being with the little bug always reminds her of the devastating loss of Vespae, but she pushes through it, determined to make sure this relationship didn't end up the same way. Natrually it didn't take long for the little Cascoon to evolve, and his Confusion attack has come in hand once or twice. Crayola even intends to use him to beat the Fighting Gym when he learns gust. He always seems to be happy. Thought he was doing great on the team, Crayola needed to replace him with a fire type. She still loves her Duster and thinks he was a great addition, but she didn't want him to get hurt in the battles to come. He did especially well in helping with the Fighting Gym. She thought he deserved a break. miss rome A temporary party member slash HM whore. She's currently being used for the Rock Smash HM that Crayola needed to get to Lavaridge. She seems to be a rather understanding Pokemon, though, and hasn't complained once despite only being used a few times to smash rocks that were in the way. It seems Rome just likes being outside of the box. Once she's no longer needed, however, Crayola will replace her with Chef. Once Chef was ready, she was tossed back into the box and Rock Smash was taught to Cash in order to give him some different attacks. However, she was later pulled out to learn Dive and after that Waterfall. Crayola tried to teach her flash, but unfortunately she couldn't learn the attack. mister nimbus He's a bit of womanizer and throughout the entire battle of trying to catch him, all he did was attempt to hit on poor Prue and woo her into being his girlfriend. He was an easy catch, and though Crayola had really been hoping to see a Seviper that was rumored to hang out in the route, she caught him anyway and just sent him to the box. mister killik Crayola had had her fingers crossed for a Trapinch, but it wasn't meant to be. This little guy popped up, and Crayola instantly knew he'd never be fit for the battle scene. . . . He was much too playful and interested in just having fun. However, she caught him anyway because he was just so darn adorable and because she knew that with some training, should he ever need some, he might become a good team mate. However, she hopes for the sake of her current team that she won't have to train him. THE JOURNEY LOG Crayola traveled for days to reach the Hoenn region in the back of a truck carrying supplies to the lab. She spent those days mourning her missing Pokémon and pumping herself up. She had to pretend she was new at this, afraid that the league would catch on. She hadn't gotten far in her last journey, though, and was sure she could do it.
Upon arriving, she headed to the lab to find the professor wasn't even there. Following the aide's information, she traveled into the route and had to rescue the professor from an angry Poochyena. She received a little Mudkip, even though she had seriously considered using one of those others. However, there hadn't been enough time to weigh the pros and cons and something about the Mudkip reminded her Piledrive.
After a few trials, she was on her way to starting her search for her missing Pokémon. Despair threatens to cripple her around every turn, whenever anything pops up that reminds her of the loved ones she'd lost, but her new Pokémon are there, helping her through it.
Hours of training and grinding and capturing Pokémon later, Crayola was ready to face the first gym. It was a fairly easy win between her Shroomish and Mudkip and they were on their way to get through the league. Crayola got another run in with Team Aqua, and the way they kept stealing stuff made her think that maybe this was the lead she needed to follow. However, the grunt she met didn't know much of anything.
Asked to do some favors, Crayola hitched a ride with Mr. Briney and was on her way to the second gym. There she had to deal with her first loss since the Johto region, but she stands ready and has managed to bounce back. With some more training and an empty slot in their team, Duster and Tux managed to both take the win at Brawley's Gym. It was a particularly sweet victory for Crayola, as there were no casualties this time.
After delivering all of the things she was asked too (And battling Team Aqua again with no answers about her missing Pokemon) she got her hands on an Exp. Share and a new teammate--a little Plusle. They moved on to the next gym, and it was a clean sweep with the use of Linderman's Mud Shot. Another victimless badge was gained and Crayola was feeling good about this. She'd definitely learned a lot from her first attempt at the league, and her confidence began to grow with each win, with each Pokémon that hadn't died.
Next up, the Heat Gym, which Crayola expects will be another easy win with the use of Linderman. Before that, though, Crayola had to help Team Magma stop Team Aqua's devilish plans at the volcano. Even after defeating them, Crayola still couldn't get an answer out of their leader and was left high and dry with no news of where her Pokémon might have been taken. Crayola's beginning to think that team Aqua nor Team Magma had nothing to do with her missing Pokémon.
They trained for hours and she even taught Sasha the move Dig so she could help out as well during the battle. It wasn't enough, though. The first Slugma managed to take out Sasha, sending Crayola into a spiraling emotional decline that she remained in for a whole day until Chef snapped her out of it with a gentle Body Slam.
Crayola managed to pick herself back up and rebuild by replacing Sasha with Cartman. He still creeps her out, but he's proven himself a good member even if he is a little infatuated with Crayola. He proved himself by taking out the entirety of Norman's Gym single-handedly. Crayola decided that she could endure his creepy stares and stalkerish flirting.
Training lasted a little longer thanks to the longer routes, but eventually they made it to the next town after several close calls, but they arrived relatively in one piece. The sixth gym was taken out thanks to a group effort: Prue took out her Swellow and Pelliper, Chef faced her Skarmory, and Linderman took out her Altaria with the Ice Beam Crayola taught her so she could face the dragons eventually, and so he wouldn't be taken advantage of by any Grass Types.
With a strategy already in mind, Crayola left for the next gym. They would need to do a lot of grinding before they were ready, but she has high hopes for her team.
Despite having long given up on the idea that Team Aqua or Team Magma would know anything about her missing Pokemon, she found herself swept up into dealing with them yet again. First she had to get rid of them so she could move on to the next gym, and then after the blowout at Mossdeep where she earned the Mind Badge, she had to chase them off again before being able to face wallace.
Once they had been cleared out and the nonesense about Kyogre was dealt with (she ended up just tossing her master ball at it to end of all that noise) she took on the last Gym. Even though she was done with Aqua, disappointed that they didn't know about her Pokémon and the lead had been false, she wanted to finish the challenge.
It was another blow out. Prue took out the majority of his Pokémon all in one shot with Thunder, and Linderman and Cartman tag teamed against his Whiscash. Crayola regrets not having a grass type, but it's too late now. They got the badge, and they charged toward Victory Road.
After what seemed to be weeks of grinding and training and move-setting, Crayola finally decided that they were ready for the Elite Four. She bought the store out in Full Restores and Full Heals, then charged forth. They fell like dominos in front of her Pokemon, unable to stand up to her type matching. She didn't lose a single Pokémon while fighting the main four, and it seemed like it was almost child's play.
Reaching the Champion, Steven, Crayola had high hopes. There were a few close calls, but they managed to get rid of all of his Pokémon. When he called forth his Metagross, his last Pokemon, Crayola didn't think anything of it. . . . But right off the bat, he used Hyperbeam on Linderman and took him away from her. Devestated, Crayola almost couldn't even chose her next Pokémon against him. Her own willpower, and the thought of all her Pokémon that were ready to fight, that wanted to see her succeed made her pull herself together and she called Cartman. Before he could even do anything, Metagross pulled Psychic out and took another Pokémon from Crayola.
Crayola hadn't felt so scared before. Was she going to go through all of that hardship and training just to lose here? No, no she wouldn't. She called Cash forth to do some chipping damage, and it seemed like it was going alright. He was using Earthquake, and he was trying so hard. . . . But then a lucky Earthquake managed to land a critical hit and Crayola had another Pokémon torn from her.
With Reese still in the red health-wise, Crayola knew she had a limited amount of time before she had to use someone as a shield so she could heal. Prue was called, though, for her Thunder attack. Steven was out of Full Restores finally, so she spammed Thunder until Metagross was low on health again as well as Paralyzed thanks to Prue. Crayola thought that this was her lucky break, but Metagross used Meteor Mash and that was all she wrote for Prue.
Instead of collapsing under the pressure and fear, it seemed to heighten her awareness. Crayola knew exactly what she needed to do, and she acted fast. Crayola called Tux, telling him to just last long enough for her to heal Reese. He stood his ground, showing not an ounce of fear despite how many had already fallen. Crayola used her Full Restore, but in that time. . . . Metagross used Hyper Beam again and took out the brave bird.
Nearly in tears, Crayola called Reese. He was her last hope, the only Pokémon left in her team. They faced off, and Crayola told him to use Surf. The attack hit, and the Metagross went down. By this time, though, Crayola didn't even care about being the new Champion. She was in tears by the time it was over, and she couldn't stop them even when being registered as the Champion. Reese was with her the whole way for comfort. He reminded her that she still had plenty of Pokémon that wanted to love her, were ready to fight for her.
Crayola pulled a new team from her PC and the Day Care. They were only a few, but at least they were something to fall back on.
Returning home, Crayola was given an S.S Ticket by Mr. Briney. He'd managed to get a hold of it for her, knowing the situation with her party from Johto. He told her to use it to get to the Sinnoh league, where a team called Galactic lived. It was another lead. Crayola made her Pokémon stay at her Secret Base, to wait for her. She wouldn't be able to take them with her on her Sinnoh run. It was against the league rules.
So she set off for Sinnoh, searching for her Johto team.
